So apparently from cio.com's Google Gets Serious About Social Networking, Google will be adding a "social layer" to it's suite. I mean really. Do we really need another social networking site? I already waste enough of my time on Facebook, I don't need another site to help me procrastinate. It is not yet known if Google will somehow form some kind of alliance with Facebook or develop an entire new site of its own.
Another fun thing that I learned while on this website, there was a link to a site that listed Ten of the Strangest Social Networking Site. And here they are...
- stachepassions.com
- vampirefreaks.com
- ziitrend.com
- eons.com
- lineforheaven.com
- matchadream.com
- intellectconnect.com
- divorce360.com
- redkaraoke.com
- ncludr.com
Have fun and start creating your profiles if any of he above interest you.
Happy blogging!
Ashley, I couldn't agree more! I'm already overwhelmed with email, facebook, twitter and blogging... And because Google is such a legitimate organization it stands to reason that their networking site is not going cater to.... certain unusual interests. So another social outlook for all the boring people in the world? No thanks.
ReplyDeleteWow, those are some weird sites! But, they do appeal to people, so I guess they make business sense. (I must say I know some people who I should recommend these sites to.) However, I agree with both of you. I do not need anymore social networking sites, as I feel I spend enough time "networking" with people through Facebook and blogging. These odd sites may appeal to some, but not me!
